My fiancé and I have switched to a few different vet clinics before settling at HVS. She has brought our dogs there a few times, even last year putting down our small Milo. The staff at HVS is definitely knowledgeable and caring!

It was Rhaenyra’s first time coming here and the staff were all so reassuring and calming to her. They were all incredibly sweet and made her feel comfy while we had to poke and prod at her. For still being such a young puppy she did so well under their care. They were also very understanding and easily answered all my questions about future plans for care and their recommendations. We’ve already booked her next appointment.

Dr Toney as well as the other veterinarians there truly care for my dog and treat him like a member of their own family. The techs are equally concerned, courteous and very knowledgeable about pet care and health. I wouldn’t even CONSIDER taking my dog anywhere else. I’ve referred several of my friends with pets to Hammond Veterinary Services and they are all equally happy with the care their pets receive there. My sweet little man is getting older now and has had to have a couple of surgeries at HVS but even with something so serious, they are able to put my mind at ease and care for him in a way that only the most loving and compassion vet ever could plus they are always up to date on the latest treatments. I also appreciate the fact that they have specialists visit the clinic so I haven't ever had to travel to New Orleans for specialty care. I feel blessed to have this group of bright and caring vets right here in Hammond.

My 12 year old diabetic dog took a turn for the worst. my vet was out of town this weekend. Being a busy Saturday morning they took care of my Sammy. It was suddenly time for euthanasia and i had very few options this Saturday morning. Very friendly and caring Dr and staff. Made our last minutes very peaceful for us.

They were able to get my cat in for a visit very quickly. They were also very straightforward and informational. Will definitely be using them in the future. Everyone was super nice and friendly.

Everyone at Hammond Veterinary is always very nice and helpful. Especially this last week with our Zoey not feeling well, they made sure to give her some extra loving since she had to stay there for a couple of days. They also made sure to keep us informed on how she is doing and I could not be more grateful!

They have amazing service! I can always trust them to take the best care of my dog. Always there for any confusion I may have and notifies me step by step for any procedure or check up done, and always checks up on them after every appointment! Very grateful for what they do, will always recommend!

While on vacation, our dog started breathing unusually fast fast. Hassling basically and we needed to make sure there wasn’t a medical issue or if her anxiety issues had just peaked out. The staff and Dr. Jen was great!!!
